Why doesn’t the model appear immediately after the announcement?

Short version: an announcement is not a button that says “the file is already yours.”

Picture this. An author releases a model. Someone posts “announced.” You open the channel and ask: “so where is it?”

Simple answer. The model does not appear in the same second. Not even in 2026. Not because “that is just how it is.” Because there are two plain reasons.

Reason 1. Respect for the author

There is an unofficial rule. A lot of people wait about two weeks.

Why two weeks? The author first gives the model to the people who pay them. That is their work. That is their money.

Then there are two paths.

Path A. The author is not respected. Then the model is everywhere in a minute. Someone downloaded it and dumped it.

Path B. The author is respected. Then the file is not posted in the same minute. People wait.

In most cases we choose path B. So “the model was announced” does not mean “you can already grab it from us.”

This is not a law. This is a respect rule.

Reason 2. Money, hands, and hardware

Now we count on our fingers. No fancy words.

We are not a huge company. We do not have a floor of offices and a hundred people on staff.

About 50–60 people pay us steadily. Eight dollars each.

Maximum:

60 × 8 = $480 a month.

That is the ceiling. And that is still a fairy tale.

In the fairy tale:

  • there are no network fees;
  • everything sits in one bank;
  • it is not crypto and not a pile of scattered accounts;
  • the money arrives every month, not once every six months.

Even in that fairy tale, part of the money goes straight to authors. About 20 of the most needed Patreons. That is around €400.

After that, there is almost no free money left.

What else has to be paid every month:

  • servers, bots, subscription tools — about $100;
  • time of the people who actually collect this — another $100 if we are lucky.

The team is 4 people. This is not full-time. Some work remote. Someone throws archives around when a free hour appears.

Now it is 2026. Almost everyone uses neural nets. So do we.

Every day we burn 1 to 3 million tokens of Gemini and DeepSeek. They are used to build cards for 3D models. Tokens cost money. Not “a little.” Every day.

The saddest part is disks.

There are four of us. Each person, at best, has a couple of 2 TB drives. One release pack easily eats hundreds of gigabytes.

You cannot snap your fingers and finish that pack. It has to be:

  1. downloaded;
  2. sorted;
  3. unpacked;
  4. repacked;
  5. uploaded;
  6. given a card.

More small things that kill the dream of “the same second”:

  • VPNs;
  • different countries;
  • limits;
  • internet speed.

And the simplest thing many people do not want to hear.

Unlimited traffic does not exist.

A normal provider or server has a traffic quota. Often 1 TB. Sometimes 5 TB. Go over the quota — traffic becomes paid.

This is not theory. This is a bill.

Now a question for the person who demands “now”

Are you exactly the person who gets to demand the file from us in the same second?

We have our own content plan. Our own sprints. Our own idea of how to grow the library and the subscriptions.

We never promised: “announced means it sits with everyone in a minute.” That promise was never made.

If it feels like models appear too slowly — this project is simply not for you.

Right now we are top 3 subscriptions in Telegram, period. And top 1 by features and convenience.

An announcement is a message. A model going live is work. Those are different things.
