Archive Naming System
To make searching and downloading models easy for everyone, HeheSTL uses a simple and clear file naming system.
How a file is named
The name consists of several parts and looks like this:
[scale] [model name] [short name] [options]@hehestl.rar
What each part means
[scale] — what size the model is in
Examples:1-32,1-16,1-8,bust[model name] — the character or model name
Examples:Kenshi,Space Marine,Orc Warrior[short name] — version or variant of the model
Examples:dm(dark version),v2,alt(alternative)[options] — whether there are supports (print braces)
psorpresup— the model already has supports (ready supports)- nothing — clean model, no supports
@hehestl.rar— always at the end; this is our mark
Simple examples
Kenshi dm@hehestl.rar
→ Kenshi model, dark version, without supports.Kenshi dm ps@hehestl.rar
→ Kenshi model, dark version, already with supports.1-16 SpaceMarine v2 ps@hehestl.rar
→ Scale 1/16, Space Marine second version, with supports.bust Orc Shaman presup@hehestl.rar
→ Bust of an Orc Shaman, with supports.
Why we do it this way
- So you quickly understand what’s inside the file.
- So it’s easy to find the model you need.
- So you can see right away whether there are supports or not.
Useful tips
- If the name has
psorpresup— the model is already print-ready (with supports). - If there’s nothing after the name — the model is clean.
- Scale is almost always indicated at the beginning.
Now you can easily understand any file name in our channels!
